Description
This Brazilian coffee is rich and complex, has a cupping score of 86.75 and is characterised by a smooth milk chocolate base.
This is beautifully intertwined with notes of almond and cinnamon, adding depth and warmth.
Notes of toffee add a subtle sweetness, resulting in a coffee that is full, original, and satisfyingly complete, with a creamy body and a delightful medium-to-high acidity
About this coffee
This coffee was grown in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Araxá, in the northwest of the Minas Gerais state in Brazil.
This area benefits from well-defined seasons—a hot and wet summer followed by a pleasantly dry winter—and its coffee plantations are situated at altitudes ranging from 800 to 1,300 meters, which contributes to the unique and high-quality characteristics of the coffee produced there.
The natural process is well-suited to the dry climate of the Cerrado Mineiro region, contributing to the distinctive taste characteristics of this coffee, such as its milk chocolate base, almond and cinnamon notes, and its creamy body.
Leveraging the farm’s optimal altitude of 1,000 meters and the area’s ideal climatic conditions, farmer Andreia Cunha Neves Careta has been producing high-calibre coffees since taking over the farm in 2020.
