About this coffee

The harvest of this coffee took place between December and February, a period characterised by gentle, indirect sunlight and cooler temperatures.

These conditions faciliate the meticulous handpicking of optimally ripe, fresh, and vibrant cherries.

This careful selection and up to three harvest cycles per plant ensure a coffee of superior quality, with a high cupping score of 88.

The natural process involves drying the cherries on well-prepared patios immediately after picking, with a keen eye for removing any green or defective beans. This takes place over a period of 18 to 22 days depending on weather conditions.

This coffee’s excellence is the fruit of a collaborative effort, embodying the community’s spirit and the expertise gained through innovative practices with COMSA, highlighting the region’s capacity to produce coffees of stringent quality.
